Having lived in Huddersfield for over 25 years, Paul Mulcock , has become a bit of a surrogate Yorkshireman ! You can’t live in a place as wonderful as Kirklees and not want to be part of
both its business and cultural community. With this in mind, Paul is President Elect of the Huddersfield Philharmonic Society, a fine amateur orchestra that can trace its roots back to 1862 and which IS led by one of classical music’s leading rising talents, the internationally celebrated conductor Natalia Luis-Basa. This role gives Paul the chance to put something
back and get free tickets to some truly fabulous concerts ! Now’t wrong with a free ticket even
if you do have to Chair at least 20 meetings a year and beg for sponsorship money whilst keeping down your day job!
Follow the You Tube link to enjoy a front seat at February 2008’s hugely successful Peter and the Wolf, narrated by friend of the Phil, Robert Powell . Actively participating in the community because we are proud to belong to it. |
